Air flotation operates on the principle of using air bubbles to attach to particles,causing them to float to the surface.The two primary types of air flotation are dissolved air flotation(DAF)and Induced Air Flotation(IAF).DAF involves dissolving air into water under high pressure and then releasing it at atmospheric pressure in a flotation tank,while IAF uses mechanical means to introduce air into the water.
